About this role

The consultant will advise the Climate Ambition and Transparency Team to enhance understanding of carbon markets and develop a financial assessment tool for participating countries. This role involves engaging with national officials to gather and verify relevant financial and policy information, ensuring the tool is adaptable to country-specific needs.

You will create a comprehensive methodology and a user-friendly Excel tool that helps countries assess charges related to ITMO authorization. The consultant will also prepare instructional materials and conduct training sessions to facilitate effective use of the tool by national stakeholders.
