Corrections Policy
Last updated 04 Oct 2026
We want every listing to match its official source. This page explains how to tell us about an error and what we do about it.
How to report an error
- Use Report on the listing and choose the reason (for example an incorrect deadline, a broken application link or an expired opportunity). You can add details and, if you want a reply, your email address.
- Or write to us through the Contact page.
What happens to a report
Each report enters an editorial queue. An editor compares it with the listing's source, then either corrects the listing or closes the report with a note explaining why no change was needed.
How corrections are shown
- When a fact on a published job is corrected, the job page lists the correction under "Source and verification": the date and which facts were updated.
- "Last updated" on a job page changes only when the content of the listing really changes. We do not refresh dates to make a page look new.
- Internally we keep the previous and the new value of every corrected fact, who changed it and why.
Extended, cancelled or closed advertisements
If the employer extends a deadline or issues a corrigendum, we update the existing listing and record the change instead of publishing a duplicate. Listings whose deadline has passed are marked as closed.
Articles and guides
Corrections to career guides are made in the article, and the "Updated" date reflects the change.
