The role includes implementing the Staff MHPSS component of the Staff health strategy, which integrates mental health support at multiple levels, including individual and organizational interventions.
Responsibilities include promoting mental health awareness, providing direct psychological support, and coordinating with external mental health service providers. The officer will also engage in capacity building for staff and contribute to crisis management initiatives, ensuring that organizational psychosocial support is available following critical incidents.
