Eligibility for NetSecOps Tech Lead at ICRC - International Committee of the Red Cross

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
10+ years in network, DevOps, platform, SRE or security engineering roles.
At least 3 years in a lead or senior individual-contributor capacity.
Strong hands-on automation and IaC experience with Ansible and Terraform.
Proven open-source engineering practice and knowledge of Kubernetes.
Solid networking foundations and network security knowledge.
Excellent written and spoken English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the network and security automation strategy using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps workflows.
Adopt and operate open-source network and security solutions.
Secure and automate networking for Kubernetes and container platforms.
Build network-as-code foundations for configuration generation and API-driven integrations.
Embed security into automation processes, including policy-as-code and container scanning.
Provide observability for network and security services through telemetry and monitoring.
Introduce AI-assisted operations responsibly with human approval and traceability.
Govern open-source use to ensure compliance with licensing and contribution policies.
