About this role
The Monitoring & Evaluation Associate will support the Project Manager in establishing and operationalizing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system for various Peacebuilding projects. This role involves working closely with local authorities, civil society organizations, and UN agencies to ensure effective governance and stabilization initiatives.
You will help monitor and report on key outputs and results, enhance feedback mechanisms, and provide quality assurance for project indicators. Capacity building and mentoring of project staff and partners in relation to the MEAL system will be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements
- Relevant degree in social sciences or related field
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation processes

Responsibilities
- Support planning, design, and management of Peacebuilding Projects
- Provide analysis and written outputs on project work and emerging issues
- Assist in formulating and revising the Annual Work Plan
- Support partnerships with research institutions and lead action research activities
- Prepare for key project governance events and donor visits
- Draft and revise technical and donor reports
- Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of the Project
- Maintain and update the project’s monitoring and evaluation plan
