As a Library Security Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of the Library building, providing a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will act as the first responder for incidents and serve as a point of contact for information, all while maintaining a strong customer focus and working as part of a team.
You will operate on a two on, six off 12-hour rotational shift pattern overnight between 21:00 and 09:00. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage incidents independently, assess risks, and make sound operational decisions with minimal supervision.
