Requirements
- Post-secondary education (minimum 2 years) in chemistry, biotechnology, technical physics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in an analytical laboratory or technical laboratory operations.
- Familiarity with standardized laboratory processes; experience with ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 13485 is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of instrument maintenance, measurement uncertainty calculations, and method validation.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Swedish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate testing comparisons, control samples, and intercalibrations.
- Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and validation routines for laboratory instruments.
- Calculate and revise measurement uncertainties and ensure methods are kept up to date.
- Manage documentation and write and sign technical work instructions for methods and calibrations.
- Drive and follow up on deviation cases and implement corrective actions in daily work.
- Participate in internal and external compliance checks and audits.
- Maintain records of equipment, analytical qualifications, and technical inventories.
