The University of Oxford seeks a Head of Administration and Finance in Oxford, with applications closing on 2 December 2026. The position reports to the Divisional Registrar and plays a key role in strategic change management.
The Head of Administration and Finance (HAF) serves as the Department’s senior professional services leader and Chief Operating Officer. This role includes advising on departmental strategy, leading the Professional Services Leadership Team, and ensuring alignment across finance, people, and academic administration with the Department's objectives.
The appointee will have overall accountability for financial sustainability, governance, risk management, and business continuity. They will also contribute to the leadership of professional services across the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division and support the Department’s relocation plans over the next five years.
