The University of Oxford is hiring a Senior Finance and Assurance Manager for the Africa Pandemic Sciences Collaborative in Oxford. This full-time position is on a fixed-term contract for 36 months. Applications close at 12 midday on 9 November 2026.
In this role, you will lead the financial management and assurance activities of the Collaborative, which is funded at over $72 million. You will oversee complex budgets, forecasting, donor reporting, audits, compliance, and financial risk while managing the finance and assurance team.
You will work closely with the Programme Manager and senior partners, providing expert financial advice and ensuring effective management of funding in line with University and Mastercard Foundation requirements. Regular travel to Africa, up to eight times per year, is a key aspect of this position.
