Overview

About this role

Join the Reader Services team at the Weston Library, which houses the Bodleian Libraries' special collections. You will assist readers by welcoming them, registering their visits, responding to inquiries, and managing the issuance and return of materials. You will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment while handling library materials, including rare collections.

The working hours are anticipated to be from 16:50 to 19:00 on three weekdays and from 09:50 to 16:00 every other Saturday. Flexibility in scheduling may be required. A satisfactory Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be necessary due to access to valuable collections.
