Eligibility for Fund Management Officer, Climate Innovation Challenge Fund at NIB

Candidates not currently based in Helsinki should be willing to relocate.

Requirements

University degree in economics, business administration, development, climate science, or a related field.
Relevant experience in program, fund, or portfolio management in international development.
Experience working with Nordic stakeholders and understanding climate finance.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Excellent command of English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is an advantage.
Strong communication and IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
Ability to manage multiple activities and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the day-to-day operations and administration of CICF.
Drive the implementation of CICF’s Nordic collaboration approach.
Manage grant and financial processes, including monitoring and reporting.
Prepare materials for Fund management and stakeholder engagement.
Contribute to the development of CICF’s operational processes and tools.
Facilitate engagement with service providers, grantees, and donors.
Collaborate with internal NDF functions on communication and knowledge management.
Manage operational workstreams in response to the Fund’s priorities.
