UN Global Compact Business & Human Rights Accelerator 2026/2027

Applications are now open for the UN Global Compact Business & Human Rights Accelerator 2026/2027. The deadline for submissions is 30 November 2026.

Overview

• Must be currently involved with a Global Compact Country Network in your area or ready to join;
• Must be willing to identify human rights risks and impacts and focus on a core area in your value chain;
• Must commit to creating and submitting an Action Plan to address the identified human rights risks;
• Must fulfill all mandatory program requirements;
• Must designate two working-level representatives to attend sessions and participate in Accelerator activities, as well as an additional executive-level representative to monitor program developments and provide support;
• Must commit to implementing the program outcomes throughout the company’s strategy and operations.

• A practical Action Plan aimed at addressing your major human rights and labor rights risks.
• A foundational starting point for your company's approach to human rights and responsibilities.
• Prioritized identification of risks and impacts within your value chain.
• A consistent due diligence approach aligned with the UN Guiding Principles.
• Preparedness for changing requirements regarding human rights due diligence.
• Enhanced stakeholder engagement and remedies for addressing impacts on individuals.
• A network of fellow participants, UN partners, and experts for ongoing support.
• A certificate of completion acknowledging your involvement in the Accelerator.
