Eligibility for VN 102/2026 National Accounting Officer at IOM - International

Requirements

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field with five years of experience, or a university degree with seven years of experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is an advantage.
Minimum seven years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
Demonstrated experience in Oracle Fusion financial modules.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation and consolidation of global financial reports.
Validate and integrate financial reporting inputs from accounting units.
Analyse significant account movements and recommend corrective actions.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end central closing activities.
Oversee the reconciliation of Subledger balances to General Ledger balances.
Strengthen reconciliation processes and internal controls over financial reporting.
