Eligibility for Senior Project Assistant (Rio Branco/AC) at IOM - International
- Place of posting: Rio Branco
Requirements
- School diploma with five years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with three years of relevant experience.
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities and NGOs.
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, and vulnerable groups.
- Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities in Acre.
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyze, and present information/data on protection topics.
- Participate in meetings and maintain liaison with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Draft status reports and correspondence on protection project issues.
- Respond to complex information requests and inquiries.
- Support case management of vulnerable migrants as required.
- Assist in monitoring work of implementing partners.
