Eligibility for Secretary in the Political, Press and Information Section at EEAS
- Right to residence and work in Jamaica.
Requirements
- Professional qualification as a secretary or relevant high school diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in secretarial activities.
- Excellent working knowledge (C2) of English.
- Very good knowledge of PC usage.
Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Head of the Political, Press and Information Section.
- Manage document and diary management, mission requests, and routine correspondence.
- Act as a first point of contact for the Delegation's PPI Section.
- Maintain electronic filing and contact databases for the PPI Section.
- Assist with event management and organization for Delegation outreach events.

- When needed, accompany members of the Delegation to media/ promotion events, to assist with photography, report writing and general support
- Coordinate annual leave and mission planning of the Head of Section and other staff members within the assigned Section as instructed by the Head of Section
- Professional qualification as a secretary or relevant high school diploma
- Excellent working knowledge (C2) of English;
- Very good knowledge of PC usage;
- Right to residence and work in Jamaica;
- University diploma with specialisation in secretarial assistance;
- Professional experience within an international organisation or embassy;
- Knowledge of other EU languages, especially French or Spanish;
- Excellent command of Outlook.
