Eligibility for Policy Advisor - Reykjavik Process and the Environment at COE
- Must be a citizen of a member State of the Council of Europe.
- Must have the support of the member State seconding you.
Requirements
- Higher education degree or equivalent qualification in relevant fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in environmental protection.
- Very good knowledge of one official language of the Council of Europe (English or French) and good knowledge of the other.
Responsibilities
- Provide policy advice and analysis to senior management.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Council of Europe Strategy on the Environment.
- Develop synergies between various environmental committees and agreements.
- Organize meetings and collect information for progress reports.
- Promote the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of the Environment.
- Conduct research and provide policy-relevant analysis.
- Draft communication outputs related to environmental work.
- Promote the integration of UN Sustainable Development Goals.
