SHEP is inviting tenders for a Researcher position to lead a study in Ireland, with applications closing on 22 November 2026. About this role
The researcher will conduct an inclusive, rights-based study that prioritizes the lived experiences and voices of individuals. This project will involve 8 to 10 interviews and up to two supported focus groups, with findings expected in May 2027 and a final report due by September 2027.
Working closely with SHEP's Advocacy Programme Co-ordinator and a project steering group, the researcher should have a strong background in qualitative research, particularly with individuals who have intellectual disabilities. Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the UNCRPD and the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 is essential.
