Medical Degree from a recognised University
MRCS or equivalent qualification
ATLS or European Trauma Course qualification
Minimum of 3 years full-time postgraduate training or equivalent experience
Experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics with acute on-call commitments

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient and inpatient care to patients
Manage emergency admissions while on-call
Supervise junior doctors and non-consultant medical staff
Teach junior doctors, medical students, and non-medical staff
Conduct patient management in line with guidelines
Undertake audits of work and contribute to national audits
Participate in continued professional development and appraisals
Engage in the Trust's Clinical Governance activities
