Eligibility for Family Support Worker (Part Time), Limerick South at Barnardos

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience working with disadvantaged children and families.
FETAC Level 5 qualification in working with children is essential.
Good computer skills are necessary.
Experience in delivering group work programmes to children is essential.
Training in parenting and group work approaches is an advantage.
Full driving licence and access to a suitably insured car are essential.

Responsibilities

Supervise students and volunteers, ensuring they understand Barnardos policies.
Prepare, run, and review group work programmes independently.
Maintain confidentiality regarding information on children and families.
