Eligibility for Safety Networks & Family Welfare Conference Co-ordinator (Part Time)

Requirements

Three years post-qualification experience in child care, youth work, social work or related field.
Experience working directly with children and families.
Experience facilitating meetings.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and deliver Safety Networks and Family Welfare Conferences.
Liaise with Tusla Social Work Department for service coordination.
Identify and document unmet needs of children and families.
Negotiate attendance of family members at meetings.
Prepare Safety Network members prior to meetings.
Locate suitable venues for meetings.
Provide information and clarification during meetings.
Co-ordinate child protection concerns in line with policies.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Promote Safety Networks and Family Welfare Conferences.
