Eligibility for Early Years Relief Worker, Ashleigh House at Coolmine Therapeutic
- Candidates must be willing to work with new-born babies and young children.
- Must have completed at least the first year of a relevant course.
Requirements
- Minimum NFQ Level 5 Certificate in a childcare qualification.
- NFQ Level 6 Certificate or higher is desired.
- Must provide 2 written references and copies of qualification certificates at the interview.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and parents.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow childcare policies in line with government guidance and statutory requirements.
- Support and assist in providing high-quality Early Years care and learning to children aged 0-6 years.
- Engage in reciprocal interactions with children.
- Support activities that benefit children while delivering a play-based approach.
- Contribute to observation and documentation of children's learning.
- Build effective communication among team members.
- Liaise with parents and the inter-agency team.
- Participate in team meetings and reflective practice.
- Practice expected hygiene practices.
