Eligibility for Early Years Relief Worker at Coolmine Therapeutic Community
- Candidates must be willing to work with newborns and young children.
Requirements
- Minimum NFQ Level 5 Certificate in childcare or recognized equivalent.
- NFQ Level 6 Certificate or higher is desired.
- Must provide 2 written references and copies of qualification certificates at the interview.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and parents is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow childcare policies in line with government guidance and statutory requirements.
- Support and assist in providing high-quality Early Years care and learning to children aged 0-6.
- Engage in reciprocal interactions with children.
- Support activities that benefit children while delivering a play-based approach.
- Contribute to observation and documentation of children's learning.
- Communicate effectively with team members and parents.
- Participate in team meetings and reflective practice.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
