Eligibility for Clinical Research Fellow at University of Leicester

Hold an MB BS or equivalent
Full GMC registration and a licence to practise
Hold MRCP (UK) or an equivalent qualification
Completed at least two years of Foundation training or equivalent
Experience in Respiratory Medicine
Understanding of governance, ethical, and data-protection requirements
Good Clinical Practice certification or ability to obtain it
Demonstrable commitment to research through publications or presentations

Responsibilities

Screen and recruit research participants before and after methacholine challenge
Support processing and recording of samples and study data
Contribute to laboratory studies using omics methods
Analyze and present research findings
Prepare reports and scientific manuscripts
Help coordinate the study in accordance with research governance and ethical requirements
Support clinical care of participants
Supervise junior colleagues and present research at meetings
