Overview

Leicester's University of Leicester is seeking an Academic Clinical Lecturer or Clinical Research Fellow in Public Health. This full-time, fixed-term position lasts for four years, or until relinquishment of NTN, with applications closing on 1 December 2026. The role involves a 40-hour work week, with the possibility of a part-time option at 0.7 FTE or above.

About this role

This position combines academic research and teaching with specialist public health training, in partnership with the East Midlands Public Health Training Programme. You will dedicate approximately 50% of your time to academic activities and the remaining 50% to public health training, with flexibility to arrange research in dedicated blocks as needed.

You will develop a high-quality public health research program, publish in peer-reviewed journals, present your work nationally and internationally, and establish collaborations. You will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in epidemiology and public health within the medical program.
