Eligibility
- Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of FAO member countries.
- Education: Applicants should have completed their secondary school education.
- Languages: Applicants need to have a working knowledge of at least one FAO official language (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian). Proficiency in a second official language will be seen as an advantage.
- Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Skills: Applicants should be adaptable to an international multicultural setting, possess strong communication skills, and be familiar with basic computer software.
- Residence/Visa Status: Applicants must have the necessary residency or immigration status in the country they are assigned to.
- Family Relation: Applicants who have relatives (defined as brother, sister, mother, father, son, or daughter) working at FAO in any contractual capacity are not eligible for the FAO Regular Volunteer Programme.
