About this role

You will play a key role in transitioning from older Office formats to modern solutions, providing technical expertise in Excel, VBA, and Office conversion. This includes analyzing and ensuring the quality of existing Excel macros and VBA solutions, troubleshooting issues, and developing new automation solutions within Excel and Office.

Collaboration with users is essential, as you will support the agency in phasing out older formats and work closely with the system provider on the NSS system's further development. Your tasks will also involve evaluating and recommending appropriate solutions for Office Scripts and other technologies.

Advanced understanding of programming concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, and functions

Review, analyze, and ensure quality of Excel macros and VBA code
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing VBA solutions
Adapt and further develop existing macros and scripts
Develop new automation solutions within Excel and Office
Participate in the further development of the NSS system with the provider
Work on inventory and automatic conversion of Office files
Evaluate and recommend suitable solutions between VBA, Office Scripts, and other technologies
