| Position Objectives: The Vaccinator will be responsible for providing vaccination to children, and families at fix sites, outreach sessions and communities. The vaccinator should possess a strong passion for promoting health, preventing diseases, and improving the quality of life for individuals and | ||||||
| S. No | Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities: | |||||
| 1 | Provide vaccination against Vaccine Preventable Diseases, ensure the availability of adequate quantities of vaccines. Maintain the cold chain for the vaccines | |||||
| 2 | Vaccinators should conduct outreach sessions to deliver vaccines through direct service delivery services, health and hygiene education. | |||||
| 3 | Immunize children and women against vaccine-preventable diseases in line with EPI protocols and RED REC micro plan. | |||||
| 4 | Maintaining daily/permanent registers, Expected Delivery Date list and NEIR attendance on daily basis including keeping record of due children, all according to established procedure. | |||||
| 5 | Vaccinators are required to conduct outreach activities in the field, participate in medical camps, EPI campaigns and village health committees. | |||||
| 6 | Vaccinators are required to update ILR temperature chart, stock register and documentation as per Pakistan EPI standards. | |||||
| 7 | Maintaining discipline and showing compliance to reporting officers, supervisors and monitors. | |||||
| 8 | Compliance and affirmation of any task assigned by the competent authority. You will adhere to the Code of Conduct policy, duly signed by you in the contract. | |||||
| 9 | S/he will be responsible for the correct use, sterilization and care of all the equipment/medical supplies used by the team in the implementation of the program. | |||||
| Education. | ||||||
| For the post of Vaccinator, EPI diploma/ health technician diploma from a recognized institute with at least 2 years of experience in relevant field with INGO/NGO is considered necessary | ||||||
| Experience. | ||||||
| 1. The incumbent must have at least 2 years of professional work experience in vaccination and immunization activities. 2. Proficiency in using NEIR app and vaccination data entry in registers. 3.
