Overview

About this role

Joining the Cortese Laboratory, you will contribute to developing novel therapeutic strategies, particularly focusing on CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing. Your work will include investigating complementary therapeutic approaches and developing engineered cellular models to identify genetic and pharmacological modifiers of RFC1 expression.

Collaboration with the ARUK UCL Drug Discovery Institute and the Genetic Therapy Accelerator Centre will be essential. You will engage in a translational research programme that combines molecular and cellular biology, genome engineering, and drug discovery, allowing you to shape the direction of the project and advance potential therapies.
