Eligibility for Research Assistant in Computational Modelling of Neural Interfaces

Eligible to live and work in the UK

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics or related discipline
Postgraduate qualification in neural engineering, bioelectronics or related field desirable
Knowledge of neural interfaces and implantable bioelectronic devices
Relevant research experience in device design, testing, electrical characterisation or electrophysiology
Familiarity with computational modelling tools such as Sim4Life or COMSOL
Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary research team

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and evaluation of implantable neural interfaces
Undertake electrical characterisation and computational simulations
Analyse and interpret experimental and simulation results
Collaborate with researchers on device fabrication and electrophysiology
Maintain accurate research records
Contribute to research reports, publications and presentations
