About this role

The Research and Policy Senior Co-Ordinator will develop and implement a new organisational research strategy, ensuring that the experiences of people with cystic fibrosis inform research priorities and policy development. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including researchers, healthcare professionals, and internal teams, to promote person-led research principles and gather evidence on member experiences through surveys.

Key responsibilities include conducting policy analysis, managing research funding processes, and representing the organisation at national and international forums. The role demands strong communication skills to effectively convey research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.

• Third level qualification in health sciences, social sciences, public health, policy, psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in research, policy, or a related role.
• Proven experience in data generation to influence policy activities.
• Experience developing and implementing research programmes and strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and CRM software.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
