Eligibility for Radiotherapy Dosimetrist - Peterborough at North West Anglia NHS
- Place of posting: Peterborough
Requirements
- Qualified Clinical Technologist or Therapy Radiographer with VRCT or HCPC registration.
- BSc Degree in Radiography, Radiotherapy Physics, or equivalent.
- Experience in specialist software for complex radiotherapy planning.
- Experience with advanced radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, and IGRT.
- Knowledge of the physics of ionising radiation related to treatment planning.
Responsibilities
- Produce complex computer-based external beam radiotherapy treatment plans.
- Supervise junior dosimetry staff and radiographers.
- Liaise with clinicians and technical staff for treatment planning data.
- Provide clinical technical advice to Oncology clinicians and radiographers.
