Eligibility for Project Assistant at IOM - International Organization for Migration

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in public health, social science, international relations, political science or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience with project implementation, monitoring and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a multi‐cultural environment.
  • Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational, coordination and time management skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Fluency in English and Lao (oral and written).

Responsibilities

  • Assist National Officer in liaising with partners for project implementation.
  • Support individual project activities and community outreach.
  • Assist with capacity building for government authorities and civil society organizations.
  • Liaise with national project counterparts as necessary.
  • Facilitate inter-agency meetings and produce related documents.
  • Travel to project areas for monitoring and event organization.
  • Assist in health activities among migrant communities.
  • Record and compile migration health data and findings.
  • Support project implementation and administrative issues.
  • Perform informal translation of documents as required.
  • Assist in donor reporting by collecting data and updates.
