Eligibility for Postdoctoral Research Scientist - Epitranscriptomics at University

Requirements

PhD/DPhil in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry or related field
Strong skills in molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology
Experience with CRISPR-Cas9 knockout cell lines
Bioinformatic analysis of DNA and RNA modifications, including small RNAs
Extensive knowledge of epigenetics, epitranscriptomics, and RNA pseudouridine
Experience in recombinant protein expression and purification
Independent research and publications
Training or supervising laboratory members

Responsibilities

Manage and develop research projects
Adapt and develop experimental techniques and protocols
Test hypotheses and analyze scientific data
Contribute ideas for new research and funding opportunities
Prepare scientific reports and journal articles
Present research findings
Provide advice on experimental techniques
Collaborate with colleagues and partner institutions
