Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
- Experience with refugee and/or immigrant populations strongly preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Strong relationship building and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
- English proficiency; professional proficiency in relevant languages preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate timely pre- and post-arrival services for clients.
- Help clients find and apply for permanent housing.
- Conduct intake services to assess client needs.
- Develop individualized self-sufficiency plans and SMART goals.
- Provide relevant services, including financial assistance and referrals.
- Monitor client progress and address challenges.
- Document client interactions and input information into the database.
- Collaborate with coworkers and partner organizations.
- Use personal vehicle for client transport and service delivery.
- Train and lead activities of volunteers and interns.
