Selection process for Pakistan Science Foundation Islamabad Jobs 2026

1. Applications are checked against the eligibility in the advertisement (education, age and domicile). Incomplete or late applications are not considered.
2. Shortlisted candidates are called for a written test or an interview by the department. This advertisement does not name a testing agency.
3. Candidates who qualify are called for an interview and the checking of original documents: CNIC, educational certificates, domicile and experience letters.
4. The final merit list follows the recruitment policy that applies to the employer, including any quotas the advertisement states, and selected candidates receive an offer or appointment letter.

How to prepare for the test

• Read the advertisement first for a syllabus or subject list. Where it gives none, tests for posts like these commonly cover English, general knowledge, Pakistan studies, Islamic studies, basic mathematics and the subject of the post.
• Practise multiple-choice papers against the clock; most departmental tests are timed and have no time to return to skipped questions.
• Revise the core subjects of the required qualification (BS Computer Science / BS Information Technology / B.Sc. Zoology), since subject questions are set at that level.
• On test day carry your original CNIC and a printed roll number slip, and reach the centre before the reporting time. Mobile phones and calculators are normally not allowed in the hall.

After you apply

• Keep a copy of your application, the fee receipt (bank draft, challan or online payment slip) and any courier or tracking receipt until the recruitment is finished.
• Watch the employer's website and your phone. Test and interview calls are usually sent by SMS, call letter or a published list of candidates.
• Apply before 17 November 2026. Applications sent after the last date are not accepted, and online forms often slow down on the final day.
• This page is updated when the last date or a test date changes. Save the job or set a reminder so you do not miss a change.
• Nobody can guarantee selection. Government departments do not ask for money beyond the official application fee; report anyone who asks you to pay for a job.
