Requirements

  • B. Com / MBA qualification.
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a travel agency or airline.
  • Experience with Ticketing Accounting software is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with accounting systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain daily sales, receipts, payments, and expenses accurately.
  • Ensure all accounting transactions are supported with relevant documentation.
  • Perform daily reconciliations between accounting records and operational reports.
  • Record and reconcile daily airline ticket sales, refunds, and adjustments.
  • Prepare and submit detailed sales and settlement reports.
  • Monitor airline deposits, credit limits, and agent balances.
  • Reconcile airline statements with internal records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain receivable ledgers and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Verify supplier and airline invoices before processing payments.
  • Record and reconcile daily bank transactions and prepare bank statements.
  • Manage branch cash and petty cash records.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for management.
  • Support month-end closing processes and maintain filing systems.
