Eligibility for Nurse Manager at Respond

Requirements

Registered in the General Division of the Live Register of Nurses in Ireland.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar management position.
Relevant third-level qualification is desirable.
Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Outgoing, relaxed, and enthusiastic personality.
Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills.
Experience working with older persons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and participate in the multi-disciplinary team at the Day Care Centre.
Coordinate services for older persons, liaising with Physiotherapy, Dietetics, and Podiatry.
Ensure Day Care Places are filled.
Organise nursing, care, and support programmes for Service Users.
Manage admissions and discharge procedures for the Centre.
Establish and maintain records of attendance and nursing care.
Manage Day Care Centre staff for productivity and continuity of care.
Conduct Performance Reviews and monthly feedback sessions with staff.
Develop individual care plans for Service Users.
Participate in drafting and implementing standards and policies.
Liaise with families and medical services in the community.
Arrange transport for Service Users.
