Eligibility for National Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at IOM - International
- Place of posting: Algiers
Requirements
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Political or Social Sciences, Business or Public Administration, Law or a related field; or a university degree with two years of relevant experience.
- Significant experience in M&E and reporting aligned with donor requirements.
- Experience with IOM/UN rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Experience in project development and donor liaison.
- Strong reporting, writing, and research skills related to M&E.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of data collection tools and evaluation techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, maintaining, and analyzing data for M&E activities.
- File and compile reports for projects/programmes/strategy.
- Assist in the design and implementation of assessments and surveys.
- Participate in monitoring and reporting exercises as assigned.
- Liaise with donor's/UNCT Monitoring Team(s) during project implementation.
- Conduct preliminary analysis of findings from M&E exercises.
- Track the status of project/programme indicators.
- Flag delays or challenges regarding data quality or compliance.
- Participate in field monitoring missions as assigned.
- Provide administrative support for project management.
- Prepare inputs for project development according to IOM standards.
- Stay updated on IOM’s M&E functions and compliance requirements.
