Eligibility for National Consultant: Reproductive Health Commodity Security (RHCS)

Place of posting: Addis Ababa

Requirements

Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Public Health, or related Health Sciences.
Minimum of two years of experience in RHCS program planning and management.
Extensive knowledge of commodity logistics and warehouse management.
Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in current office software applications.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Ethiopian regional languages is an asset.

Responsibilities

Coordinate joint interventions between UNFPA and the Ministry of Health.
Strengthen Federal RHCS forums/networks focusing on Commodity Security.
Conduct field visits and prepare status and progress reports.
Oversee physical inventory stock counts and logistics assessments.
Monitor and ensure quarterly reporting of contraceptive stock status.
Support coordination with other UN agencies and partners.
Build capacity in forecasting and inventory control of RH commodities.
Document and share lessons learned for improved programming.
Provide technical support for policy and program development.
Participate in evaluation and periodic technical reviews.
