About this role

The consultant will provide national technical support to advance the Philippine Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (PIMAM) scale-up. Responsibilities include capacity building, program monitoring, quality assurance, and documentation to strengthen the wasting ecosystem across five key components of the Child Nutrition Fund Programme.

This position will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, including health facilities, to ensure effective implementation of nutrition services and improve health outcomes for children. Eligibility for National Consultant on Wasting Management, Manila Philippines

Nationals only

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Medicine, Nursing, Health Economics, Health Policy, Social Development, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
At least seven years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or five years with a Master’s degree in public health, child nutrition, or health systems strengthening
Hands-on experience in child wasting programming, specifically PIMAM/CMAM protocols
Proven knowledge of the Philippine health system, including local health systems devolution and relevant government bodies
