Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Health Care/Health Science OR NVQ Level 3
Certificate in Mental Health or commitment to work towards achieving it
Experience of working with people with mental health needs
Experience providing support to individuals and carers
Experience supporting people with activities of daily living and promoting self-care, social functioning, and independence

Responsibilities

Provide practical and emotional support to people experiencing mental health difficulties
Work collaboratively with service users to support recovery, independence, and well-being
Deliver recovery-focused interventions under the supervision of qualified practitioners
Assist with assessment, care planning, implementation, and review of support plans
Support service users to access community resources, education, employment, training, and meaningful activities
