Kalmar kommun is hiring a Larmoperatör (Alarm Operator) for its Trygghets- och larmcentralen in Kalmar. The application deadline is 22 November 2026. This position is a permanent contract with a monthly salary.
About this role
The alarm center has been operational since 2018 and serves Kalmar kommun and much of Kalmar län. The team consists of 13 alarm operators who support emergency services, handle various alarms, and assist citizens through multiple communication channels.
Each shift includes at least two operators and a supervising officer from the emergency services. New hires will undergo four weeks of internal training before working independently. The role may also include responsibilities as a Larm- och ledningsoperatör (Alarm and Command Operator) for qualified candidates.
