Eligibility for Job Coach (STEPS)
Requirements
- Minimum of QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Psychology, Education, or relevant qualification.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or complex needs.
- Experience supporting individuals in finding and retaining paid employment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships.
- Computer literacy.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Garda Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support participants on work placements and in paid employment.
- Liaise with local disability services in Carlow.
- Prepare detailed task analysis for roles.
- Assist participants in learning and carrying out tasks.
- Support participants to integrate fully into the workplace.
- Monitor and evaluate participant performance and development.
- Conduct health & safety pre-placement audits.
- Maintain accurate project administration and record keeping.
