Significant experience securing funding from institutional and international donors
Strong bid writing, research, negotiation and proposal development skills
Understanding of programme design, implementation and evaluation
Experience of grant management, budgets and financial forecasting

Experience of fundraising in international markets, particularly with Middle Eastern donors
International field experience and understanding of humanitarian and international development standards
Willingness to travel internationally

Responsibilities

Develop and implement an institutional funding strategy
Identify and develop relationships with institutional and international donors
Maintain a strong funding pipeline and identify emerging opportunities
Lead complex proposal and bid development
Develop donor mapping and use market intelligence to anticipate funding opportunities
Oversee institutional donor portfolios and donor stewardship
Work closely with country and programme teams on funding strategies and proposals
Provide accurate income forecasts and financial analysis
