Eligibility for Finance Officer at International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

Requirements

High School degree, professional diploma, or equivalent experience in accounting.
Professional Certification in Finance & Accountancy is an asset.
1-2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of internal control systems and financial accounting best practices.
Experience with an integrated ERP financial system.
Proficient in MS Office Dynamic 365.
Good command of English and Urdu.

Responsibilities

Process cash and bank payments and manage petty cash.
Review and process invoices/payments through financial systems.
Validate supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
Ensure proper archiving of financial documents for audits.
Monitor and reconcile advances and general ledger accounts.
Handle cash disbursements and payments for the Sub-Delegation.
Support month-end closing processes and supplier management.
Assist with travel arrangements and accommodation for guests.
