Eligibility for Finance Associate, Uganda at IDLO - International Development Law

Open to nationals of the duty station or those with legal authorization to work in the duty station.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Accounting Certification – ACCA or CPA.
3 - 5 years of experience in international accounting and financial management.
Experience in IPSAS is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially spreadsheets and databases.
Experience with MS NAVISION ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the Finance and Administration Manager in maintaining the accounting system.
Process invoices and payments, and maintain financial records.
Verify invoices and ensure compliance with established processes.
Review reports and payment requests from implementing partners.
Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor bank account balances.
Assist in payroll preparation and statutory payments.
Coordinate financial monitoring for local partners.
