About this role
The Family Support Worker will provide a confidential and non-judgmental support service to individuals and families impacted by a loved one's drug or alcohol use. The service will address needs throughout County Galway and requires a compassionate approach to assist those affected by addiction.

Eligibility for Family Support Worker at ARD Family Resource Centre / Western Region
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum two years’ experience working with individuals, families, and communities
- Experience in supporting young people is desirable
- Empathetic and non-judgmental approach
- Understanding of addiction and its effects
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full driving licence and access to a car
