Overview

The University of Cambridge is seeking a Disability and Neurodiversity Adviser for temporary cover in Cambridge, with applications closing on 22 November 2026. This role is fixed-term for 12 months or until the return of the post holder. You will join the Accessibility & Disability Resource Centre (ADRC) to support disabled students and collaborate with various stakeholders to promote inclusive learning environments.

Your responsibilities will include managing a diverse caseload and developing support recommendations while contributing to the continuous improvement of the University's disability support services.

Requirements

Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant experience
Recent experience advising students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs)
Up-to-date knowledge of disability legislation and regulatory guidance
Desirable: Post-graduate qualification in assessing and diagnosing specific learning difficulties
Desirable: Professional accreditation such as NADP accredited member status
Understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build effective working relationships
