Eligibility for Community Youth Worker - Fethard Killenaule UBU Youth Project at Youth
Requirements
- Experience in youth work or related field.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Full clean driver’s licence.
- Garda Vetting required.
Responsibilities
- Develop a quality youth work response that meets the needs of young people.
- Create and deliver a workplan addressing local needs and UBU scheme outcomes.
- Engage with young people aged 10 to 24, especially those at risk or disadvantaged.
- Develop group work programmes for intervention and discussion.
- Provide individual support to young people based on their specific needs.
- Contribute to project reporting and monitoring requirements.
- Develop partnerships with statutory agencies and community groups.
- Support links between formal and non-formal education sectors.
