Eligibility for Community Link Worker at Sligo LEADER Development Company
- 3 years experience in community development or advocacy roles is desirable
- 3rd level degree in a relevant area or equivalent professional experience is desirable
Requirements
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Strong facilitation and groupwork skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good project management experience
- Full Clean Driving Licence with access to a car
Responsibilities
- Support the community using community development principles
- Collaborate with other Community Link Workers and the CCP Co-Ordinator
- Engage with local voluntary and statutory organisations
- Identify barriers to integration and service provision gaps
- Provide progress reports and briefings to the Department
